Establishment of the Research Institute for Synthetic Fibers by delimitation from original factory Bata in Svit
1965
VUCHV became an independent organization within trust of companies called Enterprises for Chemical Production. The introduction of the first production of polypropylene staple fibers within Czechoslovakia.
1990
On 1st of April 1990 VÚCHV became an independent state-owned company. Development of small tonnage productions is increasing.
1993
VUCHV extends its activities in the field of testing laboratories, recognized by state as a national testing laboratory SKTC-118 in the area of textiles and fibers.
1995
Change of legal form. State enterprise was transformed into a joint stock company, privatized by own employees.
1998
The introduction of quality management system according to ISO 9001.
2000
The introduction of the environmental management system according to ISO 14001.
2004
Beginning of production of short, compact spinning lines for the production of polypropylene silk.
2008
Merger of company TAFIB with VUCHV
2010
Grant of the certificate for implementation of the program RESPONSIBLE CARE.
2011
Grant of the Award for Science and Technology for the year 2011 in the category „Scientific and Technical Team of the Year“ by the Minister of Education, Science, and Research of the Slovak Republic.
