ISO Management Systems

In order to ensure high quality of our products and services and to secure environmental protection, the company has since 1998 implemented and maintained a quality management system according to ISO 9001 and since 2000 the environmental management system according to ISO 14001.

Current certificates of quality and environmental management are according to standards ISO 9001: 2015 and 14001: 2015. Certificates were issued by DNV – Business Assurance, and are valid until 16.8.2025 for the following areas:

  • research and development of polymers, polyester, polypropylene, polyamide
  • fibers, pigment masterbatches and development of related machinery
  • production of technical polypropylene and textile filaments and staples
  • production of pigment masterbatches
  • production of machinery and technological equipment
  • services in the field of testing
Responsible care

Certificate for carrying out the program RESPONSIBLE CARE

In 2012 the Association of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry granted again to VUCHV Certificate for carrying out the program RESPONSIBLE CARE, which is aimed at increasing the protection of health, environment and safety in all activities related to business in the chemical industry. VUCHV has the right to use the RESPONSIBLE CARE logo.

Minister Award 2011

Award of Minister of Education, Science and Research and Sports

On 10th November 2011, during the Week of science and technology in Slovakia, managing director of VUCHV Ing. Martin Budzák took over from the hands of the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic Eugen Jurzyca the award in the category of “Scientific and Technical Team of the Year” for significant contribution in research of progressive fibers on the base of classical and new polymers from renewable sources and for development of compact lines for the production of polypropylene microfiber.

Innovative Act of 2011

For outstanding achievements in innovation, Minister of Economy awarded to VUCHV the award “Innovative Act of the Year” in the category “product innovation” for the product “polypropylene staple fiber Kalcifil – micro / nano”, which is used for the production of cement composites.

Innovative Act of 2012

In the category of “Technological Innovation”, companies VÚCHV and PR Krajné were awarded by the Minister of Economy with award „Innovative Act of Year 2012“ for „Complex line for processing and material recovery of mixed textile waste”.

Innovative Act of 2014

In the category of “Technological Innovation” company VUCHV was awarded by the Minister of Economy with award for 2nd place in the competition „Innovative Act of 2014“ for “Laboratory line for plasma surface treatment”.
