KALCIFIL © – polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) staple fibers for concrete for the construction industry are used to increase the resistance of concretes and mortars to shrinkage crack formation, resistance to chemical de-icing agents, mechanical stress, frost resistance and fire resistance.

Advantages of staple fibers KLACIFIL:

  • is resistant to chemicals and harmless to the environment
  • prevents formation of shrinkage cracks during concrete setting
  • reduces the shrinkage of concrete
  • prevents negative effects of frost and snow melt on concrete
  • reduces carbonization of concrete
  • creates a surface resistant to impacts and abrasion
  • increases the tensile strength of concrete
  • increases durability of concrete structures
  • eliminates the problem of explosive destruction of concrete during a tunnel fire
  • reduces the risk inappropriate application from technological point of view

Typical applications staple fibers KALCIFIL:

  • ready-mix concrete
  • concrete for the construction of tunnels and roads
  • precast concrete products
  • monolithic construction
  • fiber-cement boards
  • concrete surfaces
  • industrial flooring
  • asphalt
  • refractory concrete
